GUSTO BATTISTA
When we created Gusto Battista, we weren't just thinking about food—we were thinking about legacy. We asked: what does 95 years of Italian excellence taste like? This is where design meets gastronomy. Every line, every ingredient, every detail—carefully crafted to reflect the emotion and elegance of the Battista. This food truck isn't just mobile—it's a moving tribute to Pininfarina's masterful design language. A story told through flavor, design, and experience. This is Gusto Battista.
We don't sell products; we craft moment
The Future of Flavor is on the Road
Gusto Battista is Pininfarina's exclusive food truck, created for the brand's 95th anniversary as a fusion of culinary artistry and iconic design. Touring cultural hotspots like Miami, Las Vegas, and Austin during global events such as F1 and Art Basel, it features chef-curated menus served from a striking, futuristic structure. With a design inspired by Pininfarina's classic automobiles and a sleek, no-seating format, Gusto Battista crafts emotional moments through immersive experiences that celebrate the brand's past, present, and future.
Why "Gusto Battista"?
Gusto means "taste" in Italian. Not just flavor, but style, pleasure, and experience. Battista honors Battista "Pinin" Farina, the founder of Pininfarina, who began as a coachbuilder in 1930 in Turin. His small workshop would go on to shape icons for Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, and Maserati. In 2019, Pininfarina launched the Battista — its first vehicle under its own name. The Battista is a fully electric hypercar, faster than most Formula 1 cars. With only 150 bespoke models to be made, its final edition, the Battista Novantacinque, celebrates 95 years of design and marks the end of an era in 2025. Gusto Battista is our tribute to that legacy.
Tasting Italy, the Pininfarina Way
Pininfarina is more than a design firm, it's a symbol of Italian excellence. And in Italy, food is design. It's craft, it's culture, it's storytelling. By entering the food world, Pininfarina isn't stepping outside its lane — it's deepening its roots.
Why F1?
Pininfarina's roots run deep in the world of Formula 1, not only as a design house but as a visionary force that has shaped the evolution of motorsport. From the pioneering Sigma Grand Prix prototype to the creation of official Formula 1 trophies and the limited Battista Edizione Nino Farina honoring the sport's first world champion, Pininfarina has long influenced how speed and elegance come together on the track. Formula 1 represents more than racing. It reflects precision, innovation, and international prestige, values that align with Pininfarina's own design philosophy.
